can not run script from command line

Hello Mike , I've tried to run the following script
EXPORT_VECTOR FILENAME="D:\DATA\test.xyz" TYPE=SIMPLE_ASCII
from windows command line but it shows the following error:

'EXPORT_VECTOR' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

any clue?!!

That's a command line that should be in a script file. Windows is telling you that it doesn't know any program by the name 'EXPORT_VECTOR'.

Frank is correct. You need to create a .gms text file with your script commands in it, then pass the name of that script on the command line to Global Mapper to run it.
