hello, when positioning a emitter next to the shore but still on land, I do not get a view shed on an (clearly visible) island or visible land across a bay. Examples: Elba, visible from hills on Corsica; St Tropez from St Maxime etc. Is there a solution to the problem? thanks for reply.

    I'm guessing that your water areas are marked as having an invalid elevation rather than an elevation of 0. What you need to do is open the Control Center, select the elevation layer, press Options, then go to the Adjust Elevations tab and specify that you want to replace invalid values with 0. Then the view shed should have enough data to operate properly.
