add bearing too points

Hi there,
I did some research into GM10, but I can't find a way to add the "bearing" information from my vector lines into the vector points.
I selected "converted points from line features", but all information are gone. When I select "view line vertices", the vertices do have this info, but I can't export them as vector points.
some help on this would be great. thanks.

The vertices themselves don't have bearing information associated with them, that is simply calculated for display on the Vertices dialog when the dialog is displayed. When you create new point features from the vertices for a line, they are stand-alone point features no longer associated with the line, so a bearing value is not associated with them.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike

I see. So, is there a way to "copy" the bearing information from the lines, to
the converted vector points? Somehow?
thanks for your quick response. -
Do you just need a text representation of the vertex information or do you need it to be an attribute of the vertices? If text will work then what I could do is add a way to copy the vertices dialog information, including bearing, to the clipboard for paste into something like an Excel spreadsheet or just a text document.
Thanks,
Mike

Good point. Yes, I'm actually working on an Excel sheet and I need to add
the bearing information to the vector points in my Excel table.
THIS, I call customer service.

I have completed adding a 'Copy to Clipboard' button on the Vertices dialog that will copy the text of the vertex list to the clipboard. Since we are on to v11 development this is in a v11 build. You can download and install it from http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper_setup_v1100_beta1.exe to give it a try.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike
