problem with saving

hi
i did as tutorial said but when i wanted to save the workspace i got the following error :
error: error embedding overlay - read access violation at date address 0*e3d 3f92f, program address 0*e3d3f92f

any suggestion?

    What version of Global Mapper are you using? I would suggest getting the latest release from http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper10_setup.exe and see if that helps.

    i use v10 , and i can save nothing since i did everything you mentioned in tutorial but when i load a raster map from server and i create new line , saving workspace doesn't work and i get above message , in fact save workspace doesn't work for me at all

    Which v10 are you using though (specifically what is your build date on the Help->About dialog)? That's why I suggest downloading and installing the file at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper10_setup.exe to make sure you are first using the latest release.

    i don't know how , but the problem solved . this time the file saved , can you explain how it possible?what i must to do if the problem will happen again?

    Did you update your build? If so, there was probably just a bug in an earlier version that has since been fixed. I'm not aware of any workspace-save problems in the most recent release.

    If you are still on the same version, then something must have changed in what you are saving or else you perhaps had some memory corruption of something.

    i just reinstall global mapper , but i'm afraid this problem will happen again.and thanks except this problem, it is great program , i used to work with GPS TrackMaker and ExpertGPS and... but it is something else . it is exactly what i was looking for. i hope the problem would never happen again
