How can we a create a contour line of z(water level) within a boundary polygon. Say if in within a boundary polygon we have 10 data with x, Y and z values. we want to draw the contour by extrapolating the existing z value to the entire area within the boundary polygon. pls help

What you need to do is first add an elevation attribute to your boundary polygon that is your edge Z value (say 0 if it is sea level), then select the layer(s) containing your boundary polygon and your XYZ points in the Control Center, then right-click on them and select the option to generate an elevation grid (make sure to uncheck the box to flatten areas). Once that completes, you can use the File->Generate Contours menu command to generate contours lines of the necessary height from the generated grid.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,
