EMF loads in GM9, but not GM10

We're trying to get a emf file into GM 10, but when we attempt to load the emf file GM grinds away (using almost full CPU load) for a long period of time (after 2 hours we gave up).

The emf file is 150MB in size, GM10 will load other emf's around 70MB in size with no problems.

The interesting part is that GM9 opens the 150MB file quickly and with no problems.

Would it be possible for you to provide me with the EMF file so that I can take a look? You can FTP it to ftp.globalmapper.com. Use a username of 'upload' and a password of 'upload' to gain write access.

Here is a large EMF with a very dispersed set of small green circles. GM v10.02 says that it cannot open this:

No data could be loaded from the file tk_16.emf

But many other EMF files generated the same way work fine. What is it about this EMF that GM doesn't like? We would rather not have to use EMF as an intermediate format, but unfortunately right now we must.

I have updated Global Mapper to support loading ellipses/circles from EMF files. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper10.zip with the change for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v10.xx installation folder to give it a try.
