I have got some new shp data.

But is in UTF8 coding.
In GM it is looking not oké and also Cgpsmapper is not reading the data correctly.

Where can I change the letter codes.

now I see " Cité Kiem " this should be " cité Kiem "

hoping you would know also the code page for cgps.

Global Mapper does not currently recognize and decode UTF-8 strings from Shapefiles as I have not seen that before. However, if you can provide me with a sample Shapefile that uses UTF-8 I can take a look and see if I can somehow detect the precense of UTF-8 strings and automatically convert them when exporting to cGPSMapper .mp files.
