Vertical options question

I was wondering why in the 3d view you can see the water level when you have an image draped over the terrain but when activating the water display in Vertical options menu you only see the water level when you turn off the draped images.
Thanks

To see the water level over draped images in the 2D view you need to enable texture mapping for those layers from the Options dialog for the layers accessible from the control center. This will then apply hill shading and water to those layers in the 2D view for a 3D effect.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike
