I think I have similar issue . . . . I wish to blend an (IFSAR sourced) xyz dataset of some 5000 points with approx 500 GPS survey point taken (to 'ground-truth' elevation values) within the same area . . . . (the area being a (generally) flat valley floor of a short reach of river). I have always taken IFSAR to be +/-0.5M; my (L1) GPS data is +/-0.02M. I wish to assign this task if possible to GM10 (not least because Arcmap is generally such slow work . . . often a sledge-hammer to crack a nut. So with thx . . .. George W

    George,

I think what you want to do is load both of your point data sets into Global Mapper, then open the Control Center, select both layers, then right click and select the option to generate an elevation grid from the data.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
