disable warning message in batch geotiff to jpg
GNET
Global Mapper User
Hi,
I am doing work for a client who would like Geotiff's converted to JPG, but they have imposed some file size restrictions. In order to get the file size below these limits I have set the image quality/size option to a low value ( ie, 10%). However, when I run the batch convert I get the following warning:
"Caution: quantization tables are too coarse for baseline JPEG."
Is there a way to turn off the warning messages?
Also, in batch mode is there a way I can set the output resolution?
Thanks,
Marc

Marc,
I have updated Global Mapper to not show that message. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper10.zip with the change for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v10.xx installation folder to give it a try.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike
