Does the SDK support this?

I'd like to use the SDK to take an image file (GeoTiff perhaps) with control points and georectify the image, and output the new georectified image.

I'd then like to work with the new image file and be able to map the pixel points to lat/long coordinates and vice versa.

Does anybody know if I can do this with this SDK?

Also, i'm wondering if the SDK is able to process the image and extract elevation information from an image?

Thank You,
Mike

    Mike,

You can use the GM_LoadRectifierLayer or GM_RepositionLayer functions to set the list of control points and projection to use for a raster layer. You can then use GM_ExportRaster to export the rectified layer to a new file.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi,

Thanks for the help, btw, do I need a trial license to evaluate the SDK?

If so, could you help me get one?

Also, do you have any sample code that uses Java with JNI to use the SDK?

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Mike,

Just email me at support@globalmapper.com and I can get you a trial key for the SDK.

I do not have any JNI sample code for using the SDK.

    Thanks,

    Mike
