hi to everybody

i wonder if it's possible to position globalmapper in a point maybe with a script.

my need is to call globalmapper and setting its startup position given lat-lon coordinates.

Yes, you could write a script that uses the LOAD_PROJECTION function to load a lat/lon projection then use the SET_VIEW command to set the bounds to display. Here is an example:

    GLOBAL_MAPPER_SCRIPT VERSION="1.00" FILENAME="C:\Temp\export test\test.gmw"
    UNLOAD_ALL
    DEFINE_PROJ PROJ_NAME="GEO_NAD27_CONUS"
    Projection GEOGRAPHIC
    Datum NAD27_CONUS
    Zunits NO
    Units DD
    Xshift 0.000000
    Yshift 0.000000
    Parameters
    END_DEFINE_PROJ
    LOAD_PROJECTION PROJ_NAME="GEO_NAD27_CONUS"
    SET_VIEW GLOBAL_BOUNDS="-94.3410699257,39.0794008191,-94.3183005835,39.0938324250"

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
