Pan Left-Right with Mouse Wheel

My mouse wheel has a left-right tilt, it'd be cool if I could pan left or right with the tilt.

Even better, an option to turn off wheel zoom and pan up-down, left-right. :)

I'll consider tilt mouse support for a future release (likely after I get a mouse that does it to test with). It looks like it is currently only supported on Windows Vista as well.

Note that you can currently pan in any control with the arrow keys and also zoom in and out with Page Up/Down.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I only use XP, tried Vista for 2 weeks in July, cursing the whole time.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a go.

Just discovered, Mapsource uses the mouse wheel for left-right, up-down.

    Try it, you'll like it.

I'll try it when I get a mouse that supports it.

Well Mike, did you ever get that new mouse? Will we see this in v11? Happy Holiday weekend!!!

I haven't gotten a new mouse and with the list of things in the works for the v11 release something like this likely wouldn't show up as it wouldn't affect very many users. I've got to get the big stuff done first.

    Thanks,

    Mike
