vector symbology

I have a road centerline shapefile that I would like to symbolize according to the jurisdiction that maintains it (county, state, township, etc). This attribute is in the centerline .dbf file. Is this possible to do in GM? Am I missing something obvious?

    You can use the Search->Search by Attribute menu command to search loaded features by attribute values (like those from DBF files) and then edit the matching features.
