SVG Export - Exporting Attributes?

I'm using GlobalMapper for exporting arcinfo coverages and shapefiles to SVG. This works fine.
Is it possible to export attribute information (e.g. item/value pairs) for graphic entities (point, line, polygon) too?

    There is not currently any support for exporting attribute or label information to SVG format files.
