How to download high resolution Digital globe imagery?

Hi,

When I download imagery it always fits the zoom range.

So if I select 4 m resolution the imager is blurry when I zoom in.


What to do?

    When you download the Digital Globe imagery make sure to select the option to "Automatically Download New Data at the Appropriate Zoom Levels for Display". This way data appropriate for your display resolution will automatically be downloaded as you zoom in, provided that data of the required resolution is available at your location.

    Here is what I hope to do:

    I need the imagery in 0.4 m resolution of an area 10 km x 15 km.


    What is the simplest way to do it?

    Are you wanting to export the data to a new file? If so, you'll need to purchase premium access to the Digital Globe imagery for that area. You can do this from http://globalmapper.com/online_data/buy_digital_globe.htm. For an area 10km x 15km at 0.4 m resolution you would need a minimum of Purchase Level F.

    If you just want to view the data and it is currently available at 0.4 m or better resolution then just do the Digital Globe import with the bounds specified for your area of interest and make sure that the option to automatically get more detail as you zoom in is selected. Note that not all areas have imagery of that resolution available yet, so if you still get blurry images, that is all that is available in your area of interest.

    I wish to have imagery at 23.5m for india. Can anybody help me in getting this

    I would suggest using the File->Download Online Imagery menu command in Global Mapper and pulling down the Global Imagery Mosaic data. It will be 15m resolution Landsat7 imagery and will cover India. You can resample to 23.5m resolution on export if you need to.

    You should be able to do some land-use analysis with the Landsat7 data. Just download some and take a look.

    Is it possible to do supervised/ unsupervised classification using global mapper??. If it is so, how one can do that??

    You can manually use the Digitizer Tool to trace features and classify them appropriately. There is not any support for this happening automatically in Global Mapper.

    You can use the File->Download Online Imagery menu command to pull down DigitalGlobe imagery for any area that you need. You will need to purchase premium access to do anything other than just view the data, like export it.

    I have Premium Access already.But i can't see or download high resolution imagery.
    I need instruction for high resolution image download of Mongolia.

    Hey.I need assistance from support team
    can you help me for downloading high resolution image for below coordinates.
    1. 102 00 00-43 43 20
    2. 102 10 00-43 13 20
    3. 102 10 00-43 09 00
    4. 102 00 00-43 09 00 it's just 108.5 sq.km area.
    it's available for my purshased premium access.

    I just checked that area and it appears that all DigitalGlobe has hosted is the 15m resolution imagery. I will check with them and see if they have something better that just isn't hosted on their servers yet.

    How to create or export garmin img file on Global Mapper?
    i want upload img file to Garmin GPS.but i need first convert.
    or landsat image convert to img file ?

    To create a Garmin .img format file you need to first have vector data loaded (areas, lines, and points; imagery like Landsat cannot be directly converted to a Garmin map), then export a Polish MP format file and then run the cGPSMapper application to convert to a Garmin .img file.     أحتاج اى اجابة عن هذة الاسئلة وهى
    هل من الضرورى التخلص من الازاحة الناتجه من فرق الارتفاع عند انتاج الخرائط بمقياس رسم 1000:1 من صور الاقمار الصناعية عالية الدقة كويك بيرد؟وكيف يمكن ذلك ؟هل بأستعمال نقاط الضبط الارضى أم بأستعمال نمودج الارتفاع الرقمى؟ dtm
    هل بأستعمال نقاط الضبط الارضى يمكن تصحيح الصور الفضائية ومنها يتم اعداد الخرائط بمقياس رسم كبير مثلاً 1000:1
    واخيرا احتاج الى مراجع علمية فى هذا المجال نأمل مساعدتكم

    Had the same thing happen, so I downloaded the latest version of googleozi, and it worked again, so maybe you should try doing that.

    i write to Marian ZUbak and he answered me that the source code of the google web page was changed, but next monday he will post the new version with the necessary corrections.

    ImageScape’s open database model also allows you to update or expand portions of an existing model seamlessly, without recreating the entire product.
