hi
i have a little problem with 2 data sets,
normally we aquire terrain data and aerial imagery of exactly the same area, but in this case the terrain data is slightly larger, i normally export the terrain data as dxf in a certain amout of rows and columns, then export the aerial imagery the same way, then in the 3d package each square of geomatry matches each square of aerial imagery therefore maps perfectly, however in this case i cannot do this as the terrain data is a slightly larger area therefore the exported imagery doesnt mach the exported terrain
anybody know what i can do

think i have it sused, create a new shape and export terrain and aerial imagery to the bounds of that shape, therefore everything can be mapped correctly
if anyone knows a different let me know
    cheers

    Al,

That approach will work, or just use the Export Bounds tab when exporting and make sure to specify the same bounds for both files on export. This will crop each export to the specified bounds.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,
