Hi globalmappers

I would like to know whether it is possible to draw a (long) line - just with two vertices -, which is drawn as part of a great circle, (like distances are calculated in great circles)

or "circles" as seen at
ftp://ftp.geoinfo.tuwien.ac.at/navratil/SimpleFigures.pdf

Thanks

You can get lines along a great circle by using the Measure Tool. Just select the Measure Tool, then right click and make sure that the option to 'Display Line/Area Measures Along Great Circle' is checked, then draw your two point line and right-click and select the save option to create a new feature from it.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
