How to adjust shapefile line display width

I'm new to global mapper and can't figure out how to adjust the displayed line width for shapefiles. Specifically, I'm displaying a shapefile polygon file over a geotiff and would like to increase the line width of the shapefile so it shows up better. I played with the Line Styles settings in the Configuration menu but couldn't figure it out.

David,
There are a couple of ways to do this. The easiest would probably be to go the Options dialog, select the Shapefile layer, press Options, then assign a new type to the lines in the layer. You can control the default style with which lines of that type are drawn on the Line Styles tab of the Configuration dialog.
Another option would be to select all of the lines with the Digitizer Tool, then right click and select the option to edit them, then change the drawing style that way.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike
