I have been working on Global Mapper Software for couple of weeks now, I am planning to Buy SDK of global mapper, I have already bought the Software, my requirment is mainly to work on the 3D viewer and i would like to write add on module in the exsisting 3D viewer called FlyThrough, i would like to digitize the path in the 2D viwer and fly though should be shown in the 3D viewer, i would like to know how best the SDK of Global Mapper can support, and is it possible to write and add on module in the exsisting 3D viewer, or do i need to write the complete functionality of viwer using GM API again

We actually provide the source for the 3D viewer (it is OpenGL-based) so that you can modify it yourself and just replace the ExternalViewerIntf.dll file (this is the 3D viewer) for the SDK with your own. You can download the source (which should build in MS Visual C++ .NET 2003 or later) from http://www.globalmapper.com/developer/GlobalMapper_3DViewerSource.zip.
