Any chance of adding an IMPORT_NED command to the scripting language that would automatically download 30m elevation data for a given lat/lng bounds similar to the existing IMPORT_TERRASERVER command? Is there a licensing issue for the data that would prevent this? Thanks in advance. Brian

    Brian,

There is actually already an IMPORT_WMS script command for importing WMS data layers, like the NED data. I apparently just neglected to document this command.

To see the format, simply load some NED data from the File->Download Online Imagery menu command, then save a workspace file and take a look at that in a text editor. Since a workspace file IS a script file, the format is the same and you can just use and modify the IMPORT_WMS command in the saved workspace file in your script to pull down NED (or other WMS source) data.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
