Importing ESRI e00 format

I’m having trouble opening files from the Washington Department of Natural Resources which are in ESRI e00 format. The data is located here:
DNR GIS Data

I downloaded the Transportation by County for Mason County. I tried opening the zip file as well as the individual unzipped files. The Mason county mason_trans.e00 file would open, but did not have useful road identification info. GM reported that do data could be loaded from the trans-road.e00 file or the trans-rte.e00 file. It looks like the latter two files have the attribute information. Same result for Jefferson Co.

I’m using Global Mapper 9.03 build May 23, 2008. Any suggestions?

    I took a look and you are correct, the trans-road.e00 and trans-rte.e00 files are attribute only files that do not contain any spatial data. Global Mapper does not currently have any way to join the attributes from a separate attribute-only .e00 file to another .e00 file containing spatial data. You would first have to merge the files in Arc and export a single new file before Global Mapper could get at that spatial data.
