Printing a large map

I used Download Online Data to display topographic maps from Terraserve. The print function seems to print what is on the screen. Is there a way to print a larger map, covering a larger area without zooming out to the next zoom and loosing detail?

    Actually if you zoom out when you print it will still get the level of detail appropriate for the print resolution and not the screen resolution, so what you get on the printout should look better than what you get on the screen. Another approach is to use the File->Capture Screen to Image menu command and generate a graphics file of whatever resolution that you want, then print that with some other application.
