Generating breaklines

v27 Pro, has two ways of making breaklines. Generate breaklines (from terrain grid) and Guided breaklines has anyone found a setup that works. I am working on a DSM tif file from Pix4D and normally I just spend days digitising the data I require. I have attached the first attempt the thicker red lines are the cuided breaklines, the thinner red/green lines are those I have digitised by eye.
Any help, ideas would be appreciated.
