Problem with exporting to KMZ not creating folders

It used to be that if I copied an attribute to a new attribute called KML_FOLDER, the exported KMZ would group all the layers under folders based on that attribute. For example, grouping rivers by a basin name. Now, however, no matter whether I check the folder name attribute box or copy MAIN_BAS_NAME to KML_FOLDER, the exported kmz always shows up in Google Earth as just a list of lines.

    Can you provide a sample data set that demonstrates this issue? I just tried a KMZ export in 27.0 split up into folders based on an attribute and it worked fine.

    I got the answer from email support--the checkbox to Create Folder For Each Geometry Type also needs to be checked in order for it to work. Thanks for replying.
