Are you interested in testing new Global Mapper tools before they are released? Join the Beta!

The Global Mapper 27.0 Beta download and license is valid from March 5 to April 13, 2026. Please use this time to thoroughly test the software, with specific focus on the newly added functionality.

This beta version includes many new and improved capabilities, most of which were added based on customer suggestions. We encourage you to check out the latest features added to beta: 

  • Improved Coordinate Transformations – GeoCalc-powered accuracy now built into Global Mapper.
  • Expanded File Format Support – including LAS 1.5, TFADS-O export, Trimble GGF export, and E57 export (Pro).
  • Enhanced Lidar QC – align flight lines and validate point cloud accuracy
  • Guided Breakline Extraction – semi-automated terrain breakline creation
  • Updated Viewshed Analysis – optimized transmitter placement with a redesigned toolset
  • Improved Photogrammetric Processing – shorter processing times and higher quality mesh generation for large drone surveys
  • AI Image Analysis Updates – additional land cover models

Reporting An Error

If you encounter any errors, please contact beta@bluemarblegeo.com and include the following information:

  • Description of the error/undesirable behavior
  • Workflow to reproduce the error
  • Data used (or sample/dummy data in the case of any proprietary datasets)
  • Report error messages with as much available text as can be copied, or a screenshot
  • Expected behavior

Including as much information as possible will ensure that a detailed report is provided to our development team to resolve your issue promptly. Updated builds will be released throughout the beta testing period, so if you encounter a problem that stops your testing, we will try to fix it as soon as possible.
