V26.2 Windows 11 Crashing on open

V26.2 crashes about 50% of the time, even when opening the default screen without loading a workspace. The following is an example of the error code received:

Hi Nigel,

Try getting the latest 26.2.1 daily build from https://www.bluemarblegeo.com/products/global-mapper-daily-builds.php . We have fixed several issues like that which were popping up intermittently on some machines.

Daily build 26.2.1 appears to have solved the problem. Opened numerous times today without a hitch .... and seems to open a lot faster now too.

Hi Nigel,

That's great to hear! We will be packaging up all of these updates in an official 26.2.1 hotfix release in a couple of weeks. But at this point the daily build should work fine.
