3D export from a point cloud

Hello,

I'd like to export a latitude/longitude/altitude (WGS84 GEO) point cloud (perfectly read by Global Mapper 24.1 and viewable in 3D) into a Wavefront 3D OBJ file format but I get an error message saying that there's no 3D vector data loaded.

I tried with DXF, DEM or SHP, with same result.

Is it even possible to convert LGZ ASCII file to OBJ ?

    I found a solution through few exports :

    1) Export LGZ to Elevation grid => DEM

    2) Export DEM to DXF 3D Face

    3) Export DXF to OBJ

    It works and readable in CAD software.

    Are you trying to get a DTM (bare earth) surface into CAD? Trying exporting the elevation grid to LandXML.
