Capture catalog bounding boxes
Catalogs showing bounding boxes. Is there a way to capture those as a vector layer?
My use case: I have loaded tiles of DEM data worth about 3.9B points as a catalog. It shows a bounding box for each tile but the overall shape is irregular so drawing the polygon by hand for the perimeter is not easy. If I try to right-click, Layer, BBOX, I'll kill the program when it tries to load each layer to draw the bounding box. But the catalog has already done this work!

Hello,
If you select to just create rectangular coverages (rather than polygonal) from the map catalog, you should just get a layer with the same rectangles that you see when looking at the catalog. This won't need to load the actual maps like polygonal coverage would need to so it should complete almost instantly.
Thanks,
Mike
