Exporting World Imagery as ECW

I am trying to export world imagery for an area as an ecw file so I can use it as a background image for an AutoCad drawing. I am having trouble with the export getting part of the way through and freezing (not responding). I have tried breaking the area into sub sections with a polygon (crop export area to selected polygon). I am exporting with a sample spacing of 3m x 3m. It worked for the first area but is not working for the area beside it.

Any thoughts on why this is occurring and what options I have to fix this.

The area is 10,400 Ha. I'm using 26.1 Pro. The ECW file for the one that worked is 433kb so it's not a huge file.

Any help much appreciated.

    I just used a different computer with version 25 and it exported the ecw fine with a 3m x 3m sample size for the total area (20,000Ha +) as a single export. Not sure what the difference is.
