optimize processing speed || doesn't seem to use all resources

Hi all,

some of the tasks i use a lot is the generation / transformation of geoTIFFs to ECW format.

I know that it takes some power to re-process the data, but in one of the current tasks (large geoTIFF of an area with ~3000 hectare) it really takes long.

The desktop computer used is quite capable - but it seems like not all of its power is being used.

Can this be correct and what would you suggest to overcome this laziness? ;)
