How to extract slope values along a line (profile path) in Global Mapper
Hi everyone,
I’m working with slope data in Global Mapper. I’ve successfully converted my elevation data to a slope map using the shader, so I now have a raster layer showing slope values.
However, I’m stuck on the next step:
How can I create a profile path or extract the slope values along a line (e.g., a transect or road)?
My goal is to either generate a profile showing slope values along the line, or at least extract the slope values that intersect with the line for further analysis.
Any guidance or step-by-step help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
