The path profile results do not show the real surface profile but instead produce a diagonal line

Have you ever encountered a case where the result of the path profile does not show the actual surface profile, but only a diagonal line.

I've tried adjusting the path profile settings, but still can't find a solution. is this a bug report or maybe there is another problem? how to solve it?

Note : For DEM I have checked and it can be displayed in 3D view so there is no problem with the surface.

I think you need to select/tick "Draw Selected Line Path".
