Path profile settings unstable

The path Profile menu settings in V26 have become unstable. More specifically, upon drawing a new profile, the Elevation Corridor selection will revert back to Keep Maximum Elevation on Perpendicular rather than Only Sample Exactly Along Path. Also, the checkbox Keep All Original Vertices automatically reverts back to being checked. In fact, it cannot be unchecked. If unchecked, when the profile is exported to csv it retains the original vertices whether the box is checked or not. I had to use V24 to get this job done. Is this a recognised bug with a fix for V26?

This is not the only setting that keeps reverting back. I have also found that on the General Settings tab, the "Sample Elevation at Fixed Number of Regularly Sample Locations" keeps reverting to 12 which generates a rough approximate surface compared to actual amount of data available and I never know if Elevation Scale is going to "Use Default Scale" or "Match Elevation Scale". Are these GWM-specific settings or user-specific or windows-environment specific settings?
