The group name in the layer list is displayed abnormally.

The non-English 26.0.2 version doesn't display correctly using non-English group names in the layer list.

Maybe it's because the .gmw file uses a UTF-8 code page.

And early. gmw files were not UTF-8 code pages.

    I was able to reproduce your issue with non-English characters saved to .gmw files not restoring correctly in non-English Global Mapper versions after 26.0.2.

    We are about to release the first beta of 26.1 and that should have the fix, or at the very least the next beta of 26.1 will have it.
