Unwanted metre / meter grid over map

Hi. I seem to have inadvertently created a metre / meter grid in Global Mapper. I don't want this grid, but I cannot remove it. It gets in the way, especially at smaller scales (zoomed out). The projection is Mercator, hence the grid arrangement. Each line is labeled by a distance in meters/ meters. I've attached an image. I can't work out how to remove it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

    Hi, have you tried going to Configuration (Spanner icon on toolbar) then in the Configuration dialog, click Display Options then Grid, and then click the option 'No Grid'.

    It is worth just checking the options open to you whilst here - the Grid is very useful, although I can see why you would want the option to turn it off!
