How to Influence Level of Detail in 3D Viewer?
Hi all. I'm new to the Global Mapper software and the GIS industry. I'm taking feature points and applying some 3d modelled trees (obj. format). When viewed in the 3D Viewer, some parts of the trees - namely, the meshes which have the foliage - are disappearing when zoomed out to about 400 meters. As a result, when viewing the forest of trees from afar, it looks like a dead forest.
Is there some setting I'm unaware of that may influence observable level of detail?
Any help is appreciated! Cheers.
