Elevation tool not working

All of a sudden my Elevation grid qc tool says no lidar points were found close enough to the control points. Except I'm working with a grid, not lidar points. It's like the tool is expecting vector data. The control points are within a few centimeters. Works fine when using a point cloud and using the lidar qc tool. It was working great last week. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm using version 25 if that makes any difference.

    Go to LiDAR settings and check the box with all points.

    It will not work if Unclassified points are unchecked
