GeoMapper - moving an 'area' to another list
Does anyone know how to move a drawn 'area' from one 'list' to another? As it is now, we redraw a new area in the list we want to move it to, and then go and delete it from the original list. There must be a better way to do it. Thanks!

Hi JustinTPF,
I think that you can do what you want to do by using the Edit Tool. Select your area. Press Copy from the Edit meny (or use the Cntrl-C combination). Then use the Paste from the Edit Tool (or Cntrl-V combination).
Choose create new Layer ("list") to paste to. Name layer whatever you like. The area will then be pasted to the new layer.
If you want to move the area completelely to the new layer, use the same procedure, but use Cut, or Cntrl-X from the first selection and follow the rest of the above.
I hope that this is what you have in mind!

Hi Hennie,
unfortunately, I don't have those options in my GeoMapper. I can Edit the Area I've drawn, and rename it, but Copy / Paste isn't there.
I've tried the shortcuts and that doesn't work either. Thanks!

Sorry, I thought you have Global Mapper, as the question was on the GM user group! My bad!
Get yourself Global Mapper, or if you are desperate QGis (for free).
Good luck.
