Why doesn't wheel zoom work from mouse position when rectifying image?
I have a user in my office who is running the same version of GM but for some reason his mouse zoom tool always zooms into the center of the image. It ignores the position of the mouse pointer. This only happens when picking control points while rectifying an imported image. On the main map view, the wheel zoom works as expected.

Perhaps because of this?

We did check that, and the option it is checked.
Zooming with the wheel works as expected in the main map window.
The problem only occurs when working with the dialog to geo-reference an image.

And if you mark an arbitrary point in the reference window No. 2, then try to scale the image with the mouse wheel.

We tried that, but it didn't change the way zoom worked.
This is very strange in that it only happens on this one computer.

Lethal remedy: Reinstall Win, and then GM.
