Feature naming

Hello! I need 0.1 degree geotiff's of the earth's surface with names in the format "nLongitudeeLatitude" (n38e13). I select a feature of 1 degree size, then Crop/Combine/Split Functions/Subdivide Quadrilateral Area (divide 10x10 pieces). What should I do next to name correctly these pieces and to download them all? I tried Vector Options/Use Selected Attribute Value/ and put the X or Y attribute there, but it doesn't work.
