Terrain Painting shifts the data

Please see the attached graphic.
In v25.0.0 (Sept 26 13:06:-07 build) the terrain painting tool shifts the data during the smoothing operation. In general the tool produces much different results than previously.
In this example I created a terrain grid from LIDAR data and then smoothed it 5 times. The original apex of the hill can be seen with the dot in the original data, however by the fifth "smoothing" operation the apex had shifted by over 3000 feet. This is clearly a bug, please fix it quickly.
Thank you.

I will take a look and see what is happening. There was a significant amount of development in the paint tools with the addition of the Image Paint Tool, so something likely went wrong with terrain smoothing there.
Thanks,
Mike

I was able to find the issue and fix it. This fix should be in the 25.0.x daily build update at https://www.bluemarblegeo.com/products/global-mapper-daily-builds.php tomorrow, or maybe Tuesday, depending on how the builds go over the weekend.
Thanks,
Mike
