Georeferencing 3D Google Data
Hi,
I'm looking for a way to georeference 3D mesh models from Google. I'm importing the data to Blender using the Google API and the BlOSM plug-in, but the models don't seem to be tied to a known coordinate system the geometry does not come in nice clean rectangular shapes.
Ideally, I would be able to identify points on the meshes and rubbersheet them to the coordinate system I'm after. Or, possibly I could trim the meshes to a known rectangle and reproject that?
Assuming that it's in a translated version of WGS84, perhaps I could estimate the translation and edit the WGS WKT for each site?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
