Exporting to GPX file

I’m interested in purchasing Global Mapper. One of the things I would like to do is load trail information from a shapefile and export the data to a GPX file. I’m wondering if the name of each feature (trail) can be exported to the GPX file. I could not determine this from the documentation and demo version.
Another question: Can the font size and color of feature names be changed for Global Mapper’s display?
Thanks,
Perry

Yes, you can certainly do that with Global Mapper. Any display label will be exported as the name for GPX tracks. If your Shapefile doesn't automatically identify an attribute as the display label, you can just open the Overlay Control Center in Global Mapper, select the Shapefile layer, press Options, then select the attribute to use for the display label.
You can use the Digitizer/Edit tool to change the drawing style, including font, of any selected feature(s). You can change the default font used for different feature types on the * Styles tabs of the Configuration dialog.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks Mike, I missed the Font button in the Line tab of the Configuration dialog.
