Path Profile Refined Move Next for Roof Extraction

Hi,

I’m trying to extract a hangar with an A roof using the Path Profile tool. My problem is that I can’t refine my movement since every time I use the Move Next button, or the mouse scroll the line “jumps” and I miss the beginning of the roof. Is there a way to refine the move for it to slide rather than jump, either using the button or the mouse wheel.
