WGS84 to NAD83CSRS Projection Options

I'm looking to batch transform data from UTM WGS84 to UTM NAD83CSRS in Alberta (ie need datum transform). There are 3 datum options that seem relevant

NAD83CSRS

NAD83CSRS (7-PARAM TRANSFORM)

NAD83CSRS (Alberta) - NTV2 Grid

NTV2 is used in 'NAD83 original' and NAD27 instances if I'm not mistaken. NAD83CSRS (7-PARAM TRANSFORM) seems like the option I should choose, though I notice the 'horz datum' option is NOT grayed out when I choose this option like it is when I choose NTV2.

Is the base 'NAD83CSRS' doing a 'BEST' or geocentric transform or what?

I've been looking around through help and the forums but its not clear to me.
