Advanced point selection - 3d polygon

Hello,

Would anyone be able to provide some insight for advanced point selection?

I have a 3d polygon that is approx 7km long, 3.5 metres wide and 6 metres tall.

The 3d polygon represents the profile of a large vehicle as it drives through a road corridor.

This polygon runs through a mobile LiDAR Dataset that was captured of the road corridor.

The road corridor has alot of over hanging tree branches and I need to perform a check to see if a large vehicle can drive the road corridor without hitting the over hanging tree branches.

I wish to select all the LiDAR points that are inside of the 3d polygon and move to a new layer

Is this possible?
