Ability to clear all coordinates systems from Global Mapper / Map Frame?

Looking for the functionality to clear all coordinate systems from Global Mapper?

Basically need to turn off / clear projections from the map frame. This function would help when trying to compare two shapefiles without a known transformation. Lots of files with incorrect / forced projections (.prj) that someone screwed up and need a way to test and see the correct offset between the files (no on the fly projection).

There is an equivalent ability in ArcGIS (ArcMap) but not yet in ArcGIS Pro. Was wondering if Global Mapper has this ability as I learn the software package. See link below from ESRI thread.
