Is there a way to remove vertices that are within the re-sample distance from an endpoint?

After resampling lines at a fixed distance interval and keeping the endpoints, there are often vertices created within the resampling distance in relation to the endpoint. When I use these lines in tandem with gridded points to create a TIN, these "close" vertices cause triangulation errors that make for non-manifold geometry when I bring my TIN into my 3D program. Is there a way to avoid the creation of these vertices or a way to easily remove them after resampling? It seems like a setting for "do not create new vertices within the sample distance from an endpoint" is needed.
Thanks,
Mark
