Hi,

do I need global mapper pro version to load scripts? or can I still write them in notepad and save them as a gms file and run them?

Global Mapper scripts can be used on all license levels of Global Mapper. Note however, that certain features used in some of the script commands may be restricted to certain license levels, for example, certain LIDAR commands and so on. Check the Global Mapper Scripting Reference (https://www.bluemarblegeo.com/knowledgebase/global-mapper-21/GlobalMapper_ScriptingReference.pdf) for license levels on script commands.
